a three hour workshop where you shall build a mini moon and adorn it with blossoms under the guidance of tania & chala.
In this workshop, ceramic artists Tania and Chala will be hands on working with you and sharing their experiences in clay and techniques they’ve been using over the years. This workshop is for all levels of clay experience. Both artists will be covering all the fundamentals of coiling and preparation of slab. By the end of this workshop, these valuable skills will stay with you, with hope to expand the range of forms that you are able to create as you begin your own journey with clay. This workshop is for two people with all materials provided.
Your work will be fired for you and you will be informed when it’s ready for pick up. Please note that these shapes require a very slow drying cycle in order for the clay to shrink evenly as the water leaves the body and avoid cracks. Therefore, it is 5-6 weeks time before your piece will be fired and ready to collect.
